Impressive Results for Cutler at the Wellington Spring Challenge CDI

Cutler continues to shine in the Florida season!  In the Wellington Spring Challenge CDI, Feb 9-12, all the Cutler horses and riders posted fabulous results. Highlights include:

On Friday, head trainer, Diana Mukpo, rode Donna Cameron's horse, Rubato (8 y.o. Oldenburg gelding by Rosario) at Fourth Level, earning 67% and placing third in the class.  Nicole Polaski rode her horse, Ronin (11 y.o. Oldenburg gelding by Royal Dance) to a 65% win at Training level.  Assistant trainer Mary Bahniuk Lauritsen, posted a stellar win riding Nicole's horse, Ansgar (7 y.o. KWPN gelding by Special D).  The pair set the bar very high indeed:  they won their class with a 79.5%, securing the day's High Point award. 

On Saturday,  Diana rode two of Donna's horses at Fourth Level.  Diana and Verida (10 y.o. KWPN mare by Rousseau) scored 66.5%, coming third in the class.  Diana and Rubato scored 63.3%, coming fourth.   Mary rode Nicole's horse, Ansgar and again won their Third Level class, with a 70.2%.  Nicole came second in her Training level class with a 64.3%, riding Ronin. 

On Sunday,  Mary rode her own horse, Rossignol ISF (14 y.o. KWPN gelding by Rampal) to a simply fabulous second place in the Intermediare I freestyle, scoring a 69% in a very competitive class - one point away from the winner.  How we wish we had a video of that ride!  Nicole did her part to round out another great day for Cutler: she put in a third solid Training level test for the weekend with her horse Ronin, posting a 65% for the win in the class.

Cutler Kick-Starts the 2012 Florida Season

What a start to the Florida season for Cutler at the Wellington Classic Dressage Challenge 1 on January 7 and 8! Cutler owner Donna Cameron's Rubato (8 y.o. Oldenburg gelding by Rosario), ridden by head trainer Diana Mukpo, put in 68.75% at 4th 3 on Sunday, winning the class.  On Saturday, Nicole Polaski's Ansgar (7 y.o. KWPN gelding by Special D), ridden by assistant trainer Mary Bahniuk Lauritsen, won the 3rd 1 class with a 71.316%.  The pair came fourth at 3rd 3 on Sunday with a 67.051%.  Diana, riding her own horse, Pascal (15 y.o. KWPN gelding by Julius [Voltaire]), was thrilled to win the Grand Prix on Saturday with a 66.436%.  Diana was also excited about their 66.556% in the Grand Prix Special on Sunday.  See this January 10 article in Dressage Daily (here) for more highlights about Cutler's exciting season opener. 

Saugerties a Success!

Highlights include:

Donna Cameron's Rubato (ridden by Diana Mukpo): 3rd  2, 68+% (2nd place); 3rd 2, 64+% (4th place).

Bonnie Padwa riding her horse, Nanook achieved 60+% at Prix St George - winning her 3rd of 4 scores for her Silver Medal! 

Joanna Sentissi riding her horse, Ziezo, earned 60+% at 2nd 3, coming 4th.

Mary Bahniuk Lauritsen riding her horse, Rossignol-ISF, earned 63+% at PSG and 60+ at I-1.

Everyone is especially proud of 15-year-old Regan Salm, riding her horse Braveheart.  On Friday, the pair achieved 65+% at 1st 3, coming 5th in a class of 25 Open, Junior, and AA riders.  On Saturday, she and Braveheart, again competing at 1st  3, earned 70+%, coming 1st and winning both the Open and Jr/Young Rider division at First Level.

Super Results at King Oak

The Cutler Farm team had a fabulous show at King Oak Dressage Days, July 15 through July 17.

Results: Third Level 3, 61.579% (3rd place) on Friday.  Third Level 3, 63.077% (1st place and Third Level high score Champion on Saturday).

Results: Prix St Georges, 65.132% (2nd place and FEI high score Reserve Champion on Friday).

Mary also competed Ansgar (6 y.o. KWPN gelding), owned by Nicole Polaski.
Results:   FEI Test for 6-year-olds, finale, 75.4% (1st place) on Friday.  FEI Test for 6-year-olds, finale, 73.8% (2nd place).
 

Bonnie Padwa is shown below riding Nanook (17 y.o. Swedish Warmblood gelding), owned by Bonnie. 
In her first Prix St Georges tests ever, Bonnie put in solid performances, scoring 59.342% on Friday, 57.63% on Saturday, and 59.342% on Sunday.
 

Bonnie Padwa also competed her new horse, Samaika, for the first time at King Oak.
Results:  Fourth Level 1, 58.751% (4th place) on Friday and 61.42% on Saturday (3rd place).
 

Joanna Sentissi competed her new horse, Ziezo, for the first time at King Oak.  The pair won first place (AA) at First Level 3, with a 66.129.  Joanna was the high point Adult Amateur for the show.  Joanna and Ziezo are shown here relaxing at the show. 

Bonnie Manley and her horse, McKayla, competed for the first time at Fourth Level.
Results:  Fourth Level 1 on Friday, 58% (5th place)  and on Saturday, 58.751% (6th place).

Results: Training Level 2, 67.5% (2nd place).  Mary also competed Antares Gold, achieving a 69.2% at Training Level 3 (1st place and Training level high score Champion on Sunday). 
 

Mary competed Raphaella (6 y.o. Oldenburg mare), owned by Cinny Little, in Raphaella's second show.
Results:  First Level 1, 70.345 (1st place and First Level high score Champion on Friday) and 71.034 (1st place and First Level high score Reserve Champion on Saturday). 
 

A Great Show at Westbrook!

Cutler Farm put in stellar performances at Centerline Events @ Westbrook Hunt Club, June 25-26.  Congratulations to all!
